Eendracht Aalst, since it bankrupted, did not get the professional licence for the season 2002/2003. That is the reason why it got out of the division, not regarding its placement. The season 2002/2003 it will play under the new name: Aalst 2002. Also, because of the bankrupt, Molenbeek was closed as a club. Strombek moved to the stadium of Molenbeek, and that is how the team Molenbeek Brussels Strombek started, and which will, in the season 2002/2003, play under name Strombek in the 2nd level. This club changes its name definitely in Brussels in the season 2003/2004. In a wish to keep the tradition, the fans found Molenbeek again, and it started from the lowest division (8th).
